Hello and welcome to my blog, Ted’s Woodworking Exposed! My name is Jim Patterson and I’m a wood working hobbyist. Not only is wood working my part time gig, but it’s also my passion. There is nothing that I love more then working with wood.
Ever since I was a kid, I have been fascinated with wood. I loved using tools and creating things out of raw materials. I loved wood shop and was in a wood working project club all through high school. My summers were filled with projects. Over time my skills grew and so did the amount of time I spent wood working. I’ve spent a fair amount of time in my shop and I’ve completed 100’s of projects. I’m still learning new techniques every day.
One reason I created this blog was to share my knowledge and experiences with beginners, novice and experts a like. I’ve learned a lot of what I know from friends that have let me watch over their shoulder. I enjoy helping others learn about the thing I love. Teaching is also one of my great loves, so together with my knowledge of woodworking I enjoy helping others explore this great hobby.
I’ve also spent a lot of time checking out various resources on the internet. There is so much information, sometimes it gives me information overload. One product I’ve tested thoroughly is Ted’s Woodworking website. It includes some 16,000 plans, projects and misc resources. It’s one of the largest and most complete products I’ve come across. I’ll be giving the product an honest review here on my blog. Please know that if there was anything about this product that gave me hesitation, I would NOT recommend it. I’m an honest man and I feel that I can truthfully put my name behind this product. I’ll outline the reasons why I feel it’s a great buy for anyone that’s interested in getting into woodworking, or even the novice/expert that already has a lot of experience.
Thanks for visiting my blog and I hope you get some value out of the articles and reviews I write. If there is any topic you’d like to learn more about or if you have any questions regarding my website or woodworking in general, please drop me on a line on my contact page. I look forward to getting to know other woodworkers and perhaps help people learn something about our shared hobby.
